Jefferson La Mesa

Jefferson La Mesa is a contemporary residential development that brings luxury apartment living to the heart of downtown La Mesa, California. This project, which revitalized a formerly underutilized site, consists of 230 for-rent residential units across two four-story buildings. The design prioritizes a high-end, resort-style living experience while integrating with the city’s vibrant, walkable downtown district.

The architecture is characterized by its sleek and modern aesthetic, providing a new visual dynamic to the area. Beyond the residential units, the project incorporates 3,084 square feet of commercial space at the street level, including four live/work units, fostering a lively and engaging pedestrian environment.

Residents of Jefferson La Mesa benefit from a wealth of premium amenities, including a leasing office, community space, and a swimming pool with a spa. The development also addresses the community’s need for accessible housing, with 10 of the units designated as affordable housing for very low-income residents, making up 5% of the total units. This privately funded project, a collaboration with architects and designers, was carefully planned to contribute to the vitality and connectivity of the La Mesa community while providing a desirable, luxury housing option.
